This application was designed for my personal use as an intervallic workout tool. I've heard/read a number of things about the pros of high-intensity interval training, and was interested in trying it out. my problem was that I didn't have a good method of timing the intervals. I probably could have found something suitable online, but I figured going through the exercise of creating would be a bit more interesting.
